NEW HORIZONS TRAVEL 21ST ANNUAL FUN TIME GOLF TOURNAMENT

Please note airline travel is at record highs this summer and security lines are likely to be long.  They are also extra slow as many of the travelers are vacationers who aren’t as familiar with the TSA restrictions.

Please checkin at least 2 hours prior for domestic flights and 3 hours for international flights.  Allow extra time for parking or rental car return.

While in line for security clearance, remember to remove shoes, belts if metal, coats and change. Also have your 1 quart bag with any liquids or gels in hand ready to be screened. Also, don't be shy about telling others in line what they will need to do as confusion is a large part of the delays.

THE PRICE OF OVERPACKING

Airline baggage restrictions are getting tougher--and more expensive. Most airlines now limit luggage to one carry-on and two checked pieces; after that, expect to pay $80 or more for each extra bag. And all checked luggage must meet strict weight and size limits. Here's how overpacking for domestic flights can lighten your wallet.  (AARP)  The Price of Overpacking

MAKING A SCENE AT THE AIRPORT

Have the frustrations of air travel ever made you see red? Have you ever crossed the line and gone really berserk? Given the right provocation, even your granny could make a scene at the airport.  (Tripso)  Making a scene at the airport
